For printing, we usually use 4C printing. There are CMYK: cyan, magenta, yellow, black. That’s the basic method for printing. In most cases, many colors can be mixed up by these CMYK color.
The other color printing is pantone. It means not go through CMYK 4C printing when printing but use a kind of specific ink to print one color.
Pantone color ink is mixed up in advance by the printing manufacturer or produced by the ink manufacturers. For every spot color in the printing product, it has specific and homologous number and sample. Using pantone color can make the color more accurate. Though it cannot show the accurate spot color on the computer screen, it still can see clearly the spot color in the paper. But for the customized, it cannot easily be mixed up and cannot easily be seen in the screen, so do not use customized spot color unless it’s obligatory.
